Apprentice application period:

Local 15's Joint Apprenticeship Committee (J.A.C.) will choose a specific time frame to take applications for a new apprentice class. (For example, we may open up an application period from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during a specific two-week period.) The application period is not held on a specific date each year, but is more inclined to be held when the need for additional apprentices seems imminent. Normally, we hold one sign up process per year. However, in slower times, sign-ups may be held every other year. (Please feel free to contact the office for more specific information as to the next sign-up period).

Apprenticeship process:

During an application period, interested individuals are invited to come to the Apprentice Training office to pick up an application. The ensuing process will be explained in depth at that time, and all applicants must have their application and supporting documentation turned back in by a pre-established deadline.
