Welcome to the official web site of the
|
Iron
Workers District Council of New England |
A brief note from IWDCNE President and website administrator
Jay Hurley:
First
and foremost, please allow me the opportunity to welcome you to the
Iron Workers District Council of New England's official website. As
you can well imagine, it is a distinct honor and pleasure to represent
over 6,000 of the most talented men and women in the construction
industry. While these members have toiled in virtual anonymity since
1896, our hope is that this website will allow us to showcase the
skills, knowledge and work ethic they bring to jobsites throughout
New England on a daily basis.
For our site to
succeed long term, we understand the need for constant updates. Our
goal is to update it daily in at least one manner, shape or form. For
example, if there is a story that runs in a newspaper about an iron
worker in Maine, there's no reason - given today's technology - why a
brother or sister iron worker in Connecticut shouldn't be able to read
it the same day! This sharing of information is vital to the site's
long term success. Below, are the various methods in which I can be
reached. Any material you forward will be given proper and
careful consideration for placement within the website. Thank you
again for visiting, and please share the availability of this website
with anyone who might have an interest in its content.
