Looking to boom out and chase UNION work around the country?

During my trip to conduct International business and build labor relations with contractors and users in our industry I was apprised that a website exists for union workers who are interested in booming out to chase energy related outages around the country.

If you are interested in
registering or pursuing this possibility...

At Day & Zimmermann NPS (DZNPS) we recognize how important it is for you as a union building tradesperson to find work throughout the country. Therefore, we built this website to provide you with the most up-to-date information about union work opportunities with DZNPS.

Click on Upcoming Outage Work to find:

  • Outage dates & locations
  • Local union contact information
  • Maps/directions
  • Preferred lodging/accommodations
  • And much more..

If you find an outage you're interested in working, please contact the business agent of the respective local union listed with that site. DZNPS hires all craft positions by union referral only.

We encourage you to register with us so that you can receive email notifications of upcoming/emergent work and get access to our resume builder. Our resume builder allows you to create, store, and print your resume. It's a free tool for you to use.

Additionally, DZNPS is always looking for supervisory and management personnel to run work at our project sites. Click on the Careers tab to view current position openings. Then utilize our resume builder to submit your resume for consideration for these non-craft positions.

I received the following message from one of Local 7's finest -- Joe Gibbons...

Hello Jay:

On a recent trip to Aruba, I came across this tree at the Tamarijn Resort. This is a Divi Divi tree, the national tree of Aruba. It is bent at a right angle due to the constant trade winds.

The tree in front of the resort is made out of 1/4 inch reinforcing rods. They are bent and shaped to replicate the national tree. You might want to suggest to Chuck Neulist and the new apprentices to get into the ornamental/reinforcing steel tree designing business! Who knows, could be something big for Local 7!

/s/ Joe Gibbons
