A friend sent me a story titled "ORGANIZED LABOR NOT TO
BE FEARED." Figuring it was the latest rant of another
self-absorbed capitalist who feels entitled to all
the money derived from any given venture, I began reading
it, as this utter greed keeps me motivated.
Much to my surprise, it was a positive story about the
mission of organized labor and I thought you might enjoy
reading it too. Thanks are in order for its author, Tom
Bohs. |

Genzyme...
Preparing the poison that will destroy community standards
in Framingham, MA... |
 |
Members and officers of Ironworkers Local 7,
including several residents from Framingham, have met with their
town's Planning Board and Selectmen in the last week to protest the
importing of iron workers from as far away as North Carolina...
Bovis, Genzyme's general contractor, and a
chameleon who regularly uses the skills of our members on other
projects, suddenly feels as if bringing in a steel erector from
Graham, North Carolina to build a huge job in Framingham is a sound
practice...The poisoning of community standards in Framingham is
currently being mixed and Genzyme and Bovis are the culprits...
The Metro West Daily News
wrote a story about the matter recently.
