PLAs-- A Tale
of Two Cities
To dramatically underscore the importance--and
effectiveness--of Project Labor Agreements (PLAs), this
video explores the very different experiences that two
communities, Malden, MA, and Lynn, MA, faced as they
embarked on major school construction projects. For Malden,
which signed a project-labor agreement, it was "the best of
times" as the schools were completed on time and under
budget. In Lynn, it was quite a different tale, prompting
the production of "A Tale of Two Cities."
PLEASE NOTE: This video
is approximately seven minutes long and is a large file.
Please be patient while it downloads. It is worth the
wait if determining the true facts on PLA's is your intention,
and it may not load on certain ABC computers as a result! |
