The photographer for this series of photos is Michael Hintlian, a familiar face to members of Local 7 as well as any other members who may have worked out of Local 7. His outstanding black and white photos have documented the Central Artery project, the Convention Center, the Seaport Hotel, and a number of other projects with a focus on the ironworking industry. These Boston University photos represent a work in progress, illustrating Aztec Steel installing the rebar portion, and J. F. Stearns Co. erecting the structural steel and pre-cast. Mike will continue to document the entire project, covering all phases of our industry and we will update this section as more pictures become available.
